Tessa Jowell was a visionary; a fearless leader driving change to build a fairer society. We are using Tessa’s vision and passion to inspire a new era of excellence in brain cancer treatment.
British politics is often toxic and partisan, but Tessa’s unique type of leadership was known to be able to build cross-party consensus and unify diverse cross-sector stakeholders, to deliver real and outstanding results.
Noteworthy successes include the triumphant 2012 London Olympics, the national Sure Start early years programme and the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission.
The Tessa Jowell Foundation is committed to harnessing the legacy of that goodwill by bringing together diverse stakeholders to work in collaboration and deliver the impact Tessa would have wanted.
